Vashi Fruit and Vegetable Market and Blacktown Farmers Market are being closed due to the recent wildfire.
The Blacktown market is closing for the first time since January due to an inclement weather event, which also impacted the Vashi fruit and vegetables market.
It will reopen later this week, according to the market’s website.
The Vashi market and Black Town Farmers Market have been operating since January.
They are both located in the former Blacktown Mall, a former shopping center that was demolished in the 1980s.
Blacktown has hosted a number of events and festivals, including the Vashon Crawl in June, the Blacktown Music Festival in September and the BlackTown Art Festival in October.
