In the past year, a new fruit market has opened in Tainsan, capital of Taiwan’s southwestern province of Koyambeh.
According to Tainans official media, the new fruit shop, which opened last Friday, is the first in Taiwan to offer fresh and frozen fruit.
The shop sells locally-produced fruit and vegetables as well as local-made products.
It has also opened a new market called the Koyaman Bamboo Farm to provide a new source of fresh fruit and vegetable to the market.
Tainan is also the first Taiwan island to establish a national museum dedicated to the fruit trade, said the city’s tourism department.
